I’m a Des Moines native and have always loved calling this city home. Even when I was young, I was the one doing my friends’ and family’s hair and makeup, and that love of helping people feel confident and beautiful eventually became my career. I began my career in 2006, and I still feel just as passionate about creating beautiful, customized hair today.
I specialize in dimensional color, blonding, and extensions, with a strong focus on creating hair that feels polished, effortless, and completely personal to each guest. I’m a perfectionist by nature and love the little details that make every appointment feel customized. From the moment you sit in my chair, my goal is to really listen, understand your hair goals, and create a plan that works for you and your lifestyle.
Continuing education has always been a priority for me, and I’ve traveled to cities including Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles to learn from some of the industry’s top artists and stay current with new techniques and trends.
As the owner of Solène Studio, I wanted to create a space that feels elevated, welcoming, and comfortable for both stylists and their guests. Creating an exceptional experience has always been just as important to me as creating beautiful hair.
Outside of the salon, I love spending time with my husband, Cole, our daughters, Eden and Sloane, and our dog, Baxter. You can usually find me trying a new recipe, watching whatever show I’m currently obsessed with, or simply enjoying time with my family.

I’ve been behind the chair since 2011, and I love helping clients feel confident and beautiful. After graduating from Paul Mitchell, I spent nine years in a salon before becoming an independent stylist in 2020.
Throughout my career, I’ve continued my education with advanced color training from Goldwell and Artego, along with extension training through Aqua. Color and extensions are where my passion truly comes alive. I love creating customized, dimensional color and beautiful transformations while always prioritizing the integrity and health of my clients’ hair.
Outside of the salon, I’ve been married to my husband since 2015, and we have three children. When I’m not behind the chair, you can usually find me cheering on my kids at their sporting events, trying new restaurants around Des Moines with my husband, or heading to an Iowa Hawkeye game.
More than anything, I love building relationships with my clients and creating a welcoming space where they can relax, feel heard, and leave loving their hair.

Since 2014 I’ve had the joy of turning all kinds of hair dreams into reality. I’m especially passionate about blondes, lived- in color, extensions, and creating dimensional, effortless looks that feel luxurious, natural, and completely you.
I’m Bellami trained, and absolutely love the transformation that extensions can bring—whether you’re looking for added length, fullness, or a completely refreshed look. I’m all about creating seamless, customized results that complement your features, lifestyle, and natural hair.
One of my favorite things about this industry is that there’s always something new to learn. I’m passionate about continuing my education, staying current with the latest techniques and trends, and continually refining my craft. I believe investing in education allows me to bring a higher level of artistry, expertise, and care to every client who sits in my chair.
When I’m not behind the chair, I’m soaking up time with my family, diving into a good book, or sipping on a crisp diet coke!
For me, beautiful hair is about more than just the finished look—it’s about the experience, the confidence you feel when you leave my chair, and creating hair that makes you feel like the best version of yourself.

I’ve been in the beauty industry since 2009, bringing a refined eye for effortless, elevated hair and a genuine passion for making every client feel their very best.
From dimensional, beautifully blended highlights and customized color to precision haircuts and timeless bridal styling, I love creating looks that feel polished and uniquely personal. My approach is centered around understanding each client’s individual style and creating hair that is both beautiful in the salon and effortless to live in.
Beyond the chair, you will find me spending time with my family and our two dogs. I enjoy sushi dates, a glass of something bubbly, and a good happy hour with the people I love most.
I consider it a privilege to do what I love and to create an experience where beautiful hair, genuine connection, and a little luxury come together.
